  26. Digital phone lines are very different from analog phone lines.  Analog
  27. phone lines, like we all have at home, are based on electrical current and
  28. digital phone lines are based on 0s and 1s.  They are not compatible. 
  29. Some PBX phones have a jack on them to allow for an external modem, just
  30. like the phones now in many hotels.   If your's doesn't it may be an
  31. available option from your PBX manufacturer or you may be able to add a
  32. small 'option box' between the wall jack and the phone, again from the PBX
  33. Manufact., to enable you to connect a modem.

  35. There are other solutions using the excisting wires in your wall jack to
  36. give you an additional phone line.  If any one needs info, email me.
